No perfomances due to Covid 19. However, I did work with an independent artist to compose music for their lyrics.
In addition, I felt this was a perfect time to get back to my roots and develop my skills on piano and bass guitar. So, while many of us were confined to our homes I had an opportunity to create and recharge.
2017 Shows
March 11, 2017: 8:am - 12 Noon, Elements of Cosine will be performing at the Rock & Roll Marathon & 1/2 Marathon. Stage B-21/5K, Minnesota Avenue SE on the ramp to Westbound E Capitol St.
December 19, 2017 Bethesda Blues & Jazz with Byron Cage (Headliner) and 4Korners Band Mark perfomred with Geno Marriott and the Spirit of Jazz.
December 31, 2017 Holiday Inn at the Carlyle, Alexandria, VA Celebration Band by G Music Production.

April 10, 2016: Mark Brooks performed with the Young Senators Reloaded at the WAMA's at the State Theatre, 220 N. Washington Street, Falls Church, VA 22046, tickets were avilable in advance and at the door. info at (703) 237-0300
July 03, 2016: Mark performed with the Young Senators Reloaded at The Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club at 7719 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda, MD 20814. Tickets were sold in adavance and at the door.
September 24, 2016: Mark performed with Geno Marriott and the Spirit of Jazz at the Cantina Marina 600 Water Street SW Washington DC 20024
November 12, 2016: Mark performed with Geno Marriott and the Spirit of Jazz band to performed for the Marine Corp. Ball. Sat in for saxophonist band leader Geno.
January 19- 22 2016: Mark will be at NAMM Show in Anneheim California. Mark to Perform with the extraordinary Bassist "Dru Williams",and Blind Bassist John Hyman for product development of Boom Bass Cabinets, and BBC Cabinets for guitarist.
